MoneyPundit exists to make personal finance simple, accessible and actionable for every Indian. We explain complex money topics in plain language, backed by transparent calculations and publicly available information.
Who Runs MoneyPundit
MoneyPundit is founded and managed by Ashwin Sood, a senior marketing professional who has spent over a decade working in banking, financial services and fintech. That experience shapes how we read product terms, rate cards and fee schedules, and how we explain them to everyday savers and investors.
We are not SEBI-registered investment advisers, chartered accountants or tax practitioners. Our content is educational and does not replace advice from a qualified professional.
How We Create Content
- Official sources first: We rely on RBI, SEBI, AMFI, the Income Tax Department, PFRDA, India Post and bank websites, and cite the source and date wherever we publish rates or rules.
- Calculators: Our calculators use standard, publicly known formulas such as the reducing-balance EMI method and compound interest. Results are estimates, not guarantees.
- Updates: Rates, tax rules and regulations change often. We update pages as we find changes, and each page shows its last updated date. Please verify the latest figures with the official source before acting.
- Independence: We do not accept payment from banks or financial institutions to rank or recommend their products. Any affiliate or advertising relationships are disclosed on our affiliate disclosure page.
